For the past 25 years, he has been actively involved in the hospitality industry, overseeing curated luxury experiences at hand-selected luxury properties. His experience spans hospitality general management, professional club and resort management, wine list development, curated luxury wine experiences, marketing and events planning.

His accolades include managing private visits by UAE royalty to one of South Africa’s most sought-after safari properties. Throughout his career, Pieter has excelled in general hospitality management, ensuring seamless service and exceeding guest expectations across the hospitality portfolio.

Holds a certified qualification in Professional Club and Resort Management from Southern Africa and the United States of America through CMASA and CMAA.
Marketing Management
Completed certification in Marketing Management through CMASA, complementing his experience in hospitality, events and business growth.
Luxury Hospitality Management
One of the first selected graduates to complete the Newmark Hotels, Reserves Senior General Management programme in luxury hospitality management, with experience managing three luxury safari properties across culinary operations, beverages, wine lists, guest experiences and operational management.
